Dawn of Eden Act II: The Deep Green
Two new regions, the level cap rises to 40, instanced dungeons and a 10-player raid, homesteads with farming, a rated arena, world events, and a much better phone app.
The Mother Bloom is down, but the blight still blows in on the east wind. Act II: The Deep Green is the first big content update for Dawn of Eden, and it’s live now.
Key notes
- Level cap 40, with two new skills for every class (at 32 and 38).
- Two new regions: the Drowned City (28–35) and the Hollow Spire (34–40), with a seven-part main story that finally answers who started the Wilt.
- Instanced dungeons: every party gets its own private copy of each dungeon. Bosses have phases, adds and enrage timers, and drop loot once per lockout.
- Raid: the Verdant Throne. Ten players, three bosses, legendary weapons. Found beneath the Seedvault after Act II.
- Homesteads: buy a house on the Greenward Terraces, grow crops, build furniture, sleep in your own bed for rested XP.
- The Arena: rated 1v1 and 2v2 in the Pit, with seasons, champions and public leaderboards.
- World events every few hours: Blight Surges, Bloom Rain, Supply Drops and the Merchant of Wonders.
- A much better phone app: install it to your home screen, tap names for quick actions, swipe between tabs, a minimap, a combat HUD, vibration and background alerts.
New regions and story
Head east from the Whispering Fen and the causeway walks straight into the sea. Tidewell, a town on the roof of a drowned parking garage, is your new home base: divers, a floating market, and a scholar who thinks the Wilt didn’t just happen. Beyond the rooftops the Hollow Spire rises from the water, a mountain of machinery that never stopped running, and at its summit something is tending a garden.
Act II adds about 46 rooms, 36 new monsters, a new tier of weapons and armor, three four-piece armor sets with 2- and 4-piece bonuses, and around 30 new quests including daily bounties.
Dungeons, bosses and the raid
The Hollow Mill, the Underline, the Bloom Hive, the new Sunken Archive and the Root-Core are now instanced: your group gets its own copy, and nobody can steal your boss. Bosses drop loot once per lockout (type lockouts), and quest items always drop.
The Verdant Throne is our first raid: turn your party into a raid party (party raid, up to 10) and descend beneath the Seedvault. Its bosses change phases, summon adds, and enrage if the fight goes long.
Homesteads and farming
Talk to Hollis on the Greenward Terraces (south of the Terrace Gardens) and buy a homestead for 2,000 Scrip. Plant seeds in your garden plots, water them, and harvest real crops on real time, from pumpkins in 90 minutes to Sunpetals in six hours. The new Carpentry profession builds furniture: a storage chest gives you your bank at home, a stove, workbench or forge lets you craft there, and a bed lets you sleep for an hour of +25% XP. Visit friends with home <name>.
The Arena and world events
Queue for the Pit with arena queue 1v1 or arena queue 2v2 from anywhere; when a fair match is found you’re pulled in and healed to full. Nobody dies and nothing is lost. Ratings reset each season, and champions get a title and a banner for their homestead.
Every few hours a world event starts somewhere: a Blight Surge where everyone works together to kill enough monsters for a shared reward, Bloom Rain with double gathering, Supply Drops to hunt for, or the Merchant of Wonders in Root Square selling rare things for half an hour.
