The Harvest Moon is here: festival guide and every timed event in Dawn of Eden

Everything about the Harvest Moon festival in Dawn of Eden (on until November 7): Harvest Tokens, gourd-headed monsters, Old Mother Gourd's shop, the daily quest and the rewards. Plus the full calendar of festivals, world events, the world boss, day and night, weather and arena seasons.

Old Mother Gourd's Harvest Moon shop in Root Square, selling name dyes, chat badges, decor and Satchel Expansion Coupons for Harvest Tokens

The great orange moon hangs low over Eden. The Harvest Moon festival is on now in Dawn of Eden, and runs until November 7. Gourd-headed creatures are loose in the farmland, Old Mother Gourd has parked her cart in Root Square, and everything she sells is paid for in Harvest Tokens.

This guide covers the whole festival, then every other timed event in the game, so you always know what’s coming.

Harvest Moon at a glance

  • When: October 1 to November 7 (UTC dates). The banner on the Here tab counts down the days left.
  • Where: everywhere, but the festive monsters live in Eden’s Reach, right outside Eden’s gates. That makes it friendly for brand-new players.
  • Who: every level. Tokens drop for everyone.

How to earn Harvest Tokens

  1. Hunt the festive monsters. While the moon is up, about 3 in 10 of the Reach’s Vine Rats, Creeping Vines, Blighted Walkers and Rust Crows show up in costume instead: the Pumpkinhead Vine Rat, the Gourdvine, the Scarecrow Walker and the Harvest Crow. Every festive monster drops 1 or 2 Harvest Tokens, with a 1 in 5 chance of a Candied Apple too.
  2. Fight anything near your level. Any monster no more than 8 levels below you has a 12% chance to drop a token, so you can earn them wherever you normally hunt.
  3. Do the daily quest. Talk to Old Mother Gourd for Gourd Gathering: defeat 4 pumpkin rats and 2 scarecrows. It pays 12 Harvest Tokens, 200 XP and 50 Scrip, and you can take it again every day. The quest tracker points you to the right fields.

Timed events all year round

World events, every 3 hours. Something happens somewhere in the world, announced to everyone:

  • Blight Surge (25 minutes): one region surges with blight. Monsters there give 50% more XP, and if everyone together kills enough of them in time, everyone who helped earns XP, Scrip and a Supply Crate.
  • Bloom Rain (30 minutes): a warm green rain falls everywhere, and every gather yields double.
  • Supply Drop (30 minutes): old-world crates wash up across a region. Find them on the ground and open them for Scrip, supplies and sometimes rare gear. Tap Track on the event bar and the tracker leads you to the nearest crate.
  • Merchant of Wonders (30 minutes): a strange caravan rolls into Root Square, selling rare things for half an hour only.

The world boss, every 2 hours. The Mother Bloom wakes in the crater of the Ashen Marsh. Bring friends.

Day and night, every 2 real hours. An Eden day lasts two hours. At night, kills give 15% more XP, and the world sounds different.

Weather, every 20 minutes. Each region rolls new weather, and it matters:

  • Rain and spore storms: herbs yield one extra.
  • Storms and high tide: salvage yields one extra.
  • Fog: hostile monsters may not notice you, and fleeing always works.
  • High wind: hostile monsters sometimes miss you.

Daily rewards and weekly challenges. Bounties and daily quests reset every day, and a 7-day reward track gives you something new each day you log in (missing a day just pauses it). Day 7 includes a rotating cosmetic. Every Monday you also get three fresh weekly challenges with Scrip, Essence and a bonus cache.

Arena seasons, every 8 weeks. Rated 1v1 and 2v2 matches in the Pit, with seasonal leaderboards and a banner for the best.
