Rooms

Raft Landing

The woven raft scrapes onto sand that glows faintly green where you step. Behind you, the Underlake. Ahead, lantern light, and the smell of cooking.

Lanternhold

A village of stilt houses built over the glowing shallows, every roof hung with lanterns of jarred light. Delvers who crossed the lake generations ago live here. They never went home, because this became home.

The Glowstrand

A long beach where every grain of sand holds a speck of light. Crabs with shells like lamps pick through the tideline.

The Singing Tidecaves

Sea-caves where the water hums. Something in the dark sings back, sweetly, using the voices of people you have lost.

Sporelight Fields

A forest of mushrooms taller than houses, their caps glowing violet and gold. Moth-swarms drift between them like slow sparks.

The Lantern Wreck

An old-world ferry, swept down through the roots in some ancient flood, lies broken across the rocks. Its crew never left it.

The Lanternway

A cliff path lined with iron lantern posts. Half of them have gone dark, and in the dark spaces between, something with long legs waits.

Temple of the Tide: Outer Court

Columns of coral-crusted stone rise out of the shallows. Robed figures wade between them, chanting underwater.

The Reliquary

A dry chamber high in the temple, full of glass cases. Each holds a single glowing seed, labelled in a script older than the city. A guardian of stone and coral stands among them.

The Drowned Sanctum

The heart of the temple, flooded to the waist. On an altar of pearl sits the Tide Oracle, many-eyed, whispering the future to the water.

The Seawall Stair

Behind the sanctum, a stair cut into the old seawall drops into blackness. Warm air rises from below, and with it a slow sound like breathing.
